Welcome to Ikigai Studios where we celebrate wit and wisdom with a wink. Our founders are two fearless (well, kind of fearless) women who believe that each day is better when injected with a little more laughter.

Meet Cara and Julie. For years, they shared story after story, and as many laughs, with their husbands and friends about the seemingly endless possibilities of things in Australia that can take you out.

They quickly discovered that there was an entire subculture of obsession over the land Down Under. After that realization, and armed with a slightly exaggerated fear of a place they’ve never been, they embarked on a mission to shine a light on those fears and turn them into fashion.

Ikigai Studios features quality t-shirts, mugs, tote bags and candles that serve up original takes on life. Our products are great conversation starters that let you and your friends share a laugh.
